The Greater Swoopers:
These avian reptiles have a lifestyle that is suited to this world as they are the masters of flight in this heaven. Since they are tamable, many if not all the tribes in this world have vast fleets of them for transportation, combat, companionship and safety. The best way so far discovered to tame them (Jon found out how to do it) is by finding a baby (which are by the way live-born), stealing it away, and passively feeding it fish ins some safe location. After a long period of time, it will grow to maturity and be ride-able but until then you can get a baby on your shoulder until it gets its growth-spurts.
These are the larger 2 species of the Swooper species, these are a lot more dangerous as they have the ability to breath-out or tail-fling an elemental type projectile. But what is the next most defining feature of these 2 is that they are natural enemies. More like Arch-enemies.
Greater Fire Swooper:
This kind of swooper has the ability to breathe and fling fire type projectiles from its tail and streams from its mouth. When properly saddled it can seat 2 people quite comfortably. It also has a crest composed of 3 frills that can extend when threatened or when an enemy is sensed. This animal also poseses the ability to cling onto walls and vertical surfaces as a means to gain an advantage over its possible prey items and enemies aswell as the ability to grab prey, instead of grabbing a person off its creature it grabs the creature and not the person. Thus the survivor is dismounted and falls to his/her death.
Greater Ice Swooper:
This kind of greater swooper is almost like its hot-headed brother having the same abilities. However, it does have ability to fling Ice-type projectiles from its tail and breathe streams of frost from its mouth instead of fire. When properly saddled it can seat 2 people quite comfortably. One other difference between these 2 is that this one comes in hues of blue and lives in the frozen islands.
